Interview and Interrogation

This dynamic investigator training class specifically covers interview and interrogation techniques for law enforcement investigators, featuring hands-on, experiential and proven interrogation techniques. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Properly plan and prepare for an interview/interrogation
  • Enhance rapport building
  • Predictable human behavior
  • Emotional behavior
  • Assess subject types
  • Understand and asses deceptive behavior
  • Understand and properly use questions
  • Conduct free-format, cognitive, and elimination interviews
  • Proper use of subterfuge
  • Utilize a 10-step confrontational interview/interrogation format
  • Understand and effectively apply legal aspects of interrogation law
  • Apply effective and legal interrogation tactics
  • Know how to properly take a confession and close the session
  • Proactively prevent false admissions and contaminated confessions
