Seminars in Law Enforcement

Hazardous Materials Response for Law Enforcement

Each day tons of goods and products are transported on America’s highway system as part of everyday commerce. Some of those goods are harmless and would have no effect on our everyday lives. However, some goods, if released, are not only harmful but are deadly! First responders have stood up and said they would protect their communities. They are the citizens’ first line of defense. Because of what they do, peace officers are often first on the scene of many incidents. Being aware of and recognizing the dangers, and then taking appropriate actions can be the difference between life and death for not only citizens but for first responders as well.

This course is designed to raise awareness, improve recognition and responses for law enforcement to safely respond to hazardous and dangerous materials incidents within their communities.
