Seminars in Law Enforcement

Managing Frustration and Angry Behaviors

- Train the Trainer

The MFAB class is rapidly becoming one of the most highly requested classes by law enforcement agencies across the country. This demand for MFAB training has resulted in a lack of qualified instructors and mentors. In this class individuals will be taught to effectively present and teach MFAB principles to law enforcement officers, as well as, provided specific instruction on establishing an interdepartmental or agency mentoring program.

The mentoring program includes the development of a designated officer or individual within the agency or department to provide one-on-one guidance to officers that may struggle with frustration and or angry behaviors. The instructor training will also include variations of the MFAB class for law enforcement, which allow the instructors to expand their presentations into other disciplines within a community, i.e. school teachers, human resource professionals, etc. Participants in the class will have an opportunity to receive trainer/mentor certification.

Though not a requirement, it is recommended that class participants will have previously attended the Basic MFAB course of instruction.
